Victron MultiPlus-II – Advanced Inverter/Charger

The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the original MultiPlus and MultiGrid into one compact and powerful device. It includes all the features of the MultiPlus, along with enhanced capabilities like external current sensing for PowerControl and PowerAssist, and optimization for self-consumption (up to 32A). It also carries the built-in anti-islanding feature and a growing list of country approvals from the MultiGrid series.

PowerAssist

Prevents overloads on limited AC sources like generators or shore power. It first reduces battery charging to avoid overload, then boosts AC output by supplementing with battery power when needed.

Energy Storage System (ESS)

The MultiPlus-II is a core component in Victron ESS setups. It integrates seamlessly with MPPT solar chargers or grid-tied inverters for flexible energy storage. Detailed setup examples are available in the ESS manual.

Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function)

If the grid fails or shore/generator power is disconnected, the inverter instantly takes over (within 20 milliseconds), keeping sensitive electronics like computers running without interruption.

Remote Monitoring & Control

Pair with a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX) to monitor and manage your system locally via LAN or remotely over the internet. Access the free VRM portal from any phone, tablet, or computer to view status and make adjustments, including automatic generator start and more.
