Battery monitor Victron BMV-700 is a high-precision battery monitor with a 500 A shunt that calculates the consumption in ampere-hours and the battery state of charge. It has a programmable relay and a visual and audible alarm. It is flush-mounted and communicates via VE.Direct.

The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate the consumption in ampere-hours and the state of charge of a battery. The ampere-hour consumption is calculated by integrating the current flowing into or out of the battery.

The monitor is supplied with a 500 A / 5 mV shunt, a 1.5 m positive cable with a 1 A fuse and a 10 m 6-wire UTP cable with RJ12 connectors between the display and the shunt. It has a programmable relay, a visual and audible alarm, a display and flush mounting (front diameter 63 mm, front bezel 69 x 69 mm, body depth 31 mm).
