The shunt continuously measures the battery’s current, voltage, and temperature, then transmits this data to the NG BMS. The Battery Management System analyzes the information to determine important parameters and activate alerts when necessary.

Monitoring of the NG lithium battery can be done through the VictronConnect App, a GX device, or remotely via the Victron VRM Portal.

This model is part of Victron’s New Generation (NG) battery line, which also includes 25.6V and 51.2V variants in multiple capacities.
