Orion-Tr Smart 24/24-12A is a galvanically isolated DC-DC converter that converts the 24 V input voltage to 24 V and delivers a continuous output current of 12 A. It is a professional adaptive three-stage DC-DC charger with built-in Bluetooth for dual-battery systems in vehicles or on boats.

The charger is used in dual-battery systems in vehicles or on boats, where the (smart) alternator and the starter battery charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth, can be controlled remotely with an on/off switch and has an engine-running detection mechanism. It can be used in 12 V or 24 V systems and is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries.

The charging algorithm is adaptive, in three stages (bulk, absorption, float), configurable or with a fixed output. Any phone, tablet or other Bluetooth-compatible device can be used for monitoring, changing settings and updates. Models of up to 400 W are available, and an unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel to increase the output power. The product is suitable for temperatures up to 55 °C, with full rated output up to 40 °C.
