BlueSolar PWM-Light 12/24V-10A is a PWM solar charge controller for 12 V or 24 V batteries with automatic voltage detection. It has a rated charge current of 10 A and is used mainly for solar-powered street or perimeter lighting and in small stand-alone photovoltaic applications.

BlueSolar PWM-Light is a PWM charger used mainly in solar-powered street or perimeter lighting and in small stand-alone photovoltaic applications, such as off-grid homes or telecommunication stations. The battery is charged with a non-programmable algorithm in three stages (bulk, absorption, float).

Two timers allow operation from sunset to sunrise or for a limited period after sunset and before sunrise. A seven-segment display shows the timer settings and error conditions, and a battery status indicator warns when the battery is discharged. The temperature sensor is internal. The protections include overcurrent, short circuit, reverse polarity of the panels and/or the battery, and disconnection of the load output at low voltage (11.2 V / 22.4 V).

The absorption voltage is 14.2 V / 28.4 V and the float voltage is 13.8 V / 27.6 V. For 12 V batteries a 36-cell solar panel is used, and for 24 V a 72-cell panel or two 36-cell panels in series. The self-consumption is 10 mA. The overload protection switches the output off after 60 seconds at 130 % and after 5 seconds at 160 %, and a short circuit switches the output off immediately.
