SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-MC4 - MPPT solar charge controller 48 V, 200 A

SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-MC4 is an MPPT solar charge controller for 48 V batteries, with a charge current of 200 A, maximum charge power of 11.5 kW and 4 independent MPPT trackers. It is intended for systems with large photovoltaic arrays, off-grid or grid-connected.

The controller is available in 5.76 kW and 11.52 kW models and has a wide solar operating input, independent tracking inputs, full connectivity, isolated photovoltaic connections, a display, fully programmable charge parameters and active cooling. The new metal enclosure and fully covered electrical connections improve safety. The charge settings can be configured for different battery chemistries, such as lead-acid and lithium.

The controller can be configured and monitored over Bluetooth with the VictronConnect app (battery voltage and current, PV voltage and current, historical data and trends). Through the VE.Can ports, other SmartSolar RS and MPPT VE.Can units are daisy-chained with an RJ45 cable; they synchronise their charge stages and can send their data to a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. If the GX device is connected to the internet, the VRM portal gives access to all data; for locations without internet, GlobalLink 520 can be used.

The controller has a display on the front panel. The dimensions are 487 x 434 x 146 mm (height x width x depth) and the weight is 13.7 kg. Up to 25 units can operate in synchronised parallel.
