Victron Orion-Tr 48/12-30A (360W) is a galvanically isolated DC-DC converter with a 32-70 V input voltage and an output voltage adjustable in the 10-15 V range. It is equipped with remote on/off control and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current.
The remote on/off control removes the need for a high-voltage switch at the cable input and can be operated with a low-power switch or, for example, with the engine on/off switch. All models are protected against short circuits and can be installed in parallel to increase the output current; the number of units connected in parallel is not limited.
The output current is reduced at high ambient temperatures. IP43 protection is achieved when the converter is installed with the screw terminals facing down. The screw terminals do not require special tools for installation. The output voltage is adjustable, and the converter is not intended for battery charging.
