Buck-Boost DC-DC converter 100 A is a DC-DC converter for charging a 12/24 V service battery in vehicles with a smart alternator. The maximum output current is 100 A at 12 V and 50 A at 24 V.
The Buck-Boost DC-DC converter is intended for charging a 12/24 V service battery in vehicles with a smart alternator. Because these alternators, controlled by the engine electronics of engines complying with Euro 5 and 6 emission standards, do not always supply the correct charging current while the engine is running, a DC-DC converter is essential for charging the service battery correctly.
The converter is programmable and has a remote on/off terminal. The operating temperature range is -25 to 60 °C, and at 60 °C it can deliver its full rated power. The enclosure is made of aluminium. The temperature sensor is optional (ASS000200100, CAN-bus temperature sensor).
