PCST5500 MV is a 5.5 MW Delta turnkey power station with integrated PCS converters and a medium voltage transformer, for utility-scale energy storage applications. It combines the advantages of central inverter and string architectures and comes as a skid for outdoor installation.
The station is pre-equipped with a medium voltage transformer and switchgear, 22 kV or 33 kV depending on the version. The modular string architecture allows independent management of two of the four battery systems, for optimized storage capacity.
The skid-based design makes transport and commissioning easier, is built for outdoor installation without the need for housing and simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting. The listed applications are the utility grid, solar-plus-storage and factories.
