Lead Carbon 12V/160Ah (M8) is a battery in which the active material of the negative plate is replaced by a lead carbon composite. This reduces sulfation, allows a lower charge voltage with higher efficiency and less corrosion, and improves cycle life. It suits off-grid solar systems and boats where the battery often operates at partial state of charge.
