Pre-charge cable is an accessory that pre-charges the internal capacitors of an inverter, inverter/charger or MPPT via the DC terminals before the battery is connected, so that connecting the battery does not cause arcing.

Main features:

• Compatible with: inverters, inverter/chargers, MPPTs
• System voltage: up to 70 V
• LED indicators: red for reverse polarity, yellow while pre-charging
• Pre-charge time: under 1 s for a MultiPlus-II 48/5000

The Pre-charge Cable allows internal capacitors of an inverter, inverter/charger or MPPT to be pre-charged via the DC terminals before connecting the battery. This method ensures that connecting the battery will not result in arcing at the connection point.
