BCD 802 - Diode battery combiner, 2 batteries, 80 A

BCD 802 is a diode battery combiner for two batteries, rated for 80 A continuous current in 12 V or 24 V systems. It lets two DC sources supply a mission-critical load in parallel, such as an electronic engine control system, so that failure of one source does not interrupt power to the load.

Diode Battery Combiners are used to guarantee continuous DC power to mission critical equipment, such as an electronic engine control system. With a Diode Battery Combiner two or more DC power sources can be used in parallel to supply the mission critical load. Failure of one source will not interrupt power to the critical load.
