The VE.Bus Smart dongle is a Bluetooth accessory for Victron inverters/chargers with a VE.Bus port, such as MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro or Phoenix VE.Bus inverters. Through the VictronConnect app it allows you to monitor and control the system, and it also works as a voltage and temperature sensor. It is a practical alternative for caravans, motorhomes and small boats.

The VE.Bus Smart dongle combines two products in one:

Firstly, it is a Bluetooth accessory for our range of inverters/chargers: Multi, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattro and our Phoenix inverter series with a VE.Bus port. Once installed, use the VictronConnect app to monitor operation and control the system: check the input current limit and switch between the Off, On and Charger-only modes.

Secondly, it can act as a voltage and temperature sensor for the inverter/charger. It works with all models.

This device is a very good alternative for monitoring in caravans and small yachts for which the Color Control GX and Venus GX are not available.

It also adds the Instant Readout function of the VE.Bus product and shows the most important data of the inverter/charger on the VictronConnect device list page without needing a connection to the product. This includes visual notifications with warnings, alarms and errors that allow quick diagnosis.
