PWS1-1725KTL-H-EX is a modular Sinexcel bidirectional power conversion system, from 215 kVA (1 module) to 1725 kVA (8 modules), with a three-phase three-wire 690 V AC output, a DC voltage of 1000-1500 V, a peak efficiency of 98.5 %, IP54 protection and air cooling. It communicates over RS485, Ethernet and CAN, with Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC104 and IEC61850 protocols.
PWS1-1725KTL-H-EX is a modular Sinexcel bidirectional power conversion system (PCS) for energy storage systems, with 1 to 8 modules and a nominal apparent power from 215 to 1725 kVA. It connects directly to the 690 V AC grid and works with a battery voltage of 1000-1500 V DC, in an outdoor NEMA 3R cabinet with air cooling.
Each module provides 215 kVA and the maximum DC current is 201 A per module, reaching 1612 A with 8 modules. The DC voltage is 1000-1500 V for full power charging and 1070-1500 V for full power discharging. The power factor is adjustable from 0.9 leading to 0.9 lagging and the THDi is 3 %.
The datasheet gives a response time below 20 ms, built-in grid-support functions and automatic peak shaving and load shifting strategies. The operating temperature is -20 ... 60 °C, with derating above 45 °C, and the maximum altitude is 3000 m.
