SUN-50K-SG01HP3-EU-BM4 - Three-phase hybrid inverter 50 kW for HV batteries

SUN-50K-SG01HP3-EU-BM4 is a 50 kW three-phase hybrid inverter with four MPPT inputs, designed for photovoltaic systems with storage in high-voltage lithium-ion batteries (160-800 V). It combines conversion of the panel energy, battery charging and supply of the loads in a single unit, and operates grid-connected or off-grid.

The photovoltaic input accepts up to 80000 W (maximum PV access power 100000 W) across four MPPT inputs, with a maximum voltage of 1000 V, a start-up voltage of 180 V and a maximum operating current of 36+36+36+36 A. The rated PV input voltage is 600 V.

The battery input is high voltage (160-800 V), for lithium-ion batteries with self-adaptation to the BMS, with a maximum charge and discharge current of 50+50 A. The unit supports 6 time periods for battery charging and discharging, AC coupling to retrofit an existing solar system, and storing energy from a diesel generator. The AC output supports 100 % unbalanced loads.

The AC output is three-phase (3L+N+PE, 220/380 V or 230/400 V), with a continuous AC pass-through from grid to load of 200 A and an off-grid peak power of 1.5 times the rated power for 10 s. Up to 10 units can be paralleled for grid-connected and off-grid operation, and several batteries can run in parallel. The IP65 enclosure covers temperatures of -40 ... +60 °C, with derating above 45 °C.
