CBS8000-80KWH is a SOFAR LiFePO4 battery cabinet of 80.38 kWh (314 Ah, 600 V nominal) with a rated power of 38.40 kW, charging up to 150 A and discharging up to 200 A. It has a built-in air conditioner, a double fire suppression system, IP55 and C4. It weighs 980 kg and measures 2100 x 750 x 1150 mm.
CBS8000-80KWH is a high-voltage LiFePO4 battery cabinet, pre-installed in the factory, with a total energy of 80.38 kWh (5 battery packs), a built-in air conditioner and IP55 protection with C4 corrosion resistance. It connects to SOFAR hybrid inverters with an HV battery.
The cabinet contains 16 kWh battery packs with BMS, a battery control unit (BCU), a thermal management system, a fire suppression system and a built-in air conditioner (1.5 kW cooling, 1 kW heating). Each battery module has active balancing. Fire protection is by aerogel; perfluorohexanone is optional.
The cabinet is installed on the floor, on a load-bearing foundation, and is moved with a forklift rated for more than 4 t. The operating temperature is -20 ... 50 °C, with derating above 45 °C; to charge below 0 °C the battery heating function must be enabled. Communication with the inverter is CAN. The SOFAR manuals describe it together with the HYD-40K...60K-T1 and 80-125KTLX-G4-ESS inverters.
