FC1000 is the battery controller (BMS) of the Pylontech Force-H3 systems, for towers of 2-7 FH10050 modules (172.8-921.6 V). It has a working voltage of 80-1000 V, a charge and discharge current of 55 A (15 minutes maximum), a self-consumption below 16 W, CAN and Modbus RTU communication, dimensions of 540 x 350 x 150 mm and a weight of 12 kg.
FC1000 is the battery controller (BMS) of the Pylontech Force-H3 system: it sits on top of a tower of 2-7 FH10050 modules, manages the modules and communicates with the inverter over CAN or Modbus RTU. One FC1000 is used per tower; it is not needed with Force-H3X systems, whose inverter controller has its own BMS.
The box contains the controller, the tower base (540 x 350 x 40 mm), RJ45 communication cables (two of 3 m and one of 1.5 m), the 3 m red DC+ and black DC- power cables (8 AWG), the 1 m earth cable (10 AWG), the brackets for towers of 3 and 4 modules, the anti-toppling brackets and the fixing screws. The front panel has a status LED, a system capacity indicator, a status LED for each module and a button.
Up to 6 towers can be connected in parallel, all with the same number of modules. The controllers are daisy-chained through the Link 0 and Link 1 ports (RJ45 cable), and the controller with the Link 0 port empty is the master and communicates with the inverter, over CAN or RS485. To connect several towers in parallel, the manual suggests the P-Combiner-HV-3-V2 (up to 3 towers, 50 A) or P-Combiner-HV-6-V2 (up to 6 towers, 100 A) combiners.
The controller operates at -10...55 °C, has a design life of over 15 years and a self-consumption below 16 W.
