SUN-20K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is a 20 kW three-phase hybrid inverter for low-voltage batteries (40-60 V range), with 2 MPPT and a colour touch LCD. It combines solar conversion, battery charging and load supply in one unit and can run in parallel, up to 10 units, in on-grid and off-grid systems.

The inverter works with lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries and adapts automatically to the BMS of a lithium battery. It offers 6 programmable time periods for charging and discharging the battery and can store energy from a diesel generator.

It can be AC-coupled to an existing solar installation to retrofit it; in off-grid mode the peak power is twice the rated power, for 10 s. The output accepts 100% unbalanced load, with up to 50% of the rated power on each phase, and the low-voltage battery side has transformer isolation. Up to 10 units can be connected in parallel, together with several batteries in parallel.

The integrated protections include DC reverse polarity, AC output overcurrent, short circuit and overvoltage, thermal protection, DC component monitoring, anti-islanding, insulation impedance and residual current detection; AFCI is optional. The unit has two battery inputs.
